Control Grade TDFG70T Fiber Optic Gyroscope
1 Introduction
The fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) is an angular velocity sensor that leverages the Sagnac optical effect, employing an advanced all-digital closed-loop architecture to achieve real-time angular velocity measurements at >4 kHz sampling rates via serial communication.This product line comprises single-axis, dual-axis, and triaxial configurations. Dual-axis and triaxial FOGs utilize shared light sources and signal-processing circuits to simultaneously measure angular velocity across multiple orthogonal axes, ensuring synchronized multi-axis motion tracking for high-dynamic applications.
2 Application
It is suitable for stabilization and control equipment for guided weapons, attitude control, torpedoes, tactical missiles, and medium and high-end industrial equipment.
3 Characteristics
Low noise, low power consumption, low cost;
Instant-on, digital output for easy connection to a computer.
All-solid-state design with no moving parts;
Small size, light weight and flexible design;
High reliability and long life.
